Game Viewers

The legendary off-road abilities and durability of a Defender make it an ideal platform for a game viewing vehicle. Gateway has converted many Defenders (and other models, too!) of various wheel bases for breezy game drives.

Choose from a wide range of seating options, power plants, roofs and access points to build the perfect game viewer.

Performance Upgrades

Before you swap your Land-Rover’s engine (we do that too, by the way) consider one of our ECU-based performance upgrades.

By re-mapping the control unit we are able to offer you guaranteed performance benefits on TD5, TDV6 and TDV8 powered Land-Rover vehicles.

Defender Double Cabs

The Double Cab Defender arguably offers the best mixture of cargo and seating capacity, in either 110 or 130 configuration. One of our most popular conversions is from Defender 110 Station Wagon to Double Cab, or vice versa.

Defender Club Cabs

With only a hand-full of models ever produced, the Defender 110 Club Cab is quite a rare specimen. The working man\’s best friend, it offers extra cargo room in the cabin over a standard 110 pick-up.

Defender 147

The extra-extra-length Defender 147 with its 6-door 3-rows-of-seats configuration is even longer (and more spacious) than the established Defender 130 Crew Cab. The closed cabin is a viable alternative to an open game-viewing vehicle if the weather turns a bit nasty.

Hard top, soft top, station wagon

Have you always wanted to own a Defender 90 pick-up? We know the feeling. Would your Defender 110 pick-up be more practical as a hard top? Or perhaps you\’ve always wanted a convertible Range Rover? Gateway Offroad Centre has extensive experience in converting bakkies to wagons, hard to soft tops, and anything in between.
